85 new spacious and fully accessible units will offer independent living for seniors and allow them to remain close to their families and communities, in the Crowsnest Pass. The new Crowsnest Pass Seniors Lodge will provide 61 supportive living units and 24 units for designated supportive living for dementia care.

The governments of Canada and Alberta provided a combined investment of approximately $17.1 million, under the Investment in Affordable Housing Agreement. The Government of Alberta is providing $6.4 million through the Alberta Supportive Living Initiative to build the 24 units of designated supportive living for dementia care.
