The Canadian Observatory on Homelessness and the A Way Home Canada are partnering on the Making the Shift (MtS) Youth Homelessness Social Innovation Lab (MtS). The MtS is a Network of Centres of Excellence with an initial investment of $17.9 million over five years from the Government of Canada’s Research Tri-Council.

This initiative will help Canada shift how it responds to youth homelessness, and will contribute to a longer term reduction in homelessness among young people across the country. Most importantly, it will create knowledge that will help us support young people and their families to achieve the best possible outcomes. If the term “Making the Shift” sounds familiar, it is with good reason!
